Throughout her life Mum was passionate about helping others, from soup kitchens to orphanages to just supporting anyone in need. In her later years Mum was particularly passionate out helping the elderly knowing the strength and faith she had through her recent health struggles would be invaluable for others. We believe Island hospice embodies Mum, they believe that their first duty is to care. For more than 35 years, they have been caring for those who are facing some of the most difficult times of their lives; whether it is chronic illness, a sudden death, or a traumatic event. Island Hospice helps with both clinical intervention and counselling.
