Interested in giving back?
Should you wish to offer your services as a volunteer at Island, you will first be invited to attend a 2-hour orientation talk which outlines the various ways in which you can support. Depending on your area of interest, Island offers training through a series of modules in order to capacitate you for that role. These roles include assisting us in the areas of administration; fund raising; direct patient and client contact (caregiving); building maintenance (e.g. handy man/electrician) etc. There is no end to the ways that you can help Island to continue to offer the service that it does. Our charity shops are manned by volunteers. Please visit our shops in Harare (6 Natal Road, Belgravia) and Mutare (1 Arcadia Road) and consider donating your pre-loved clothes, household items etc. All funds raised support patients & clients.
